As you’re located just 20 minutes from Brisbane, it makes sense to make the most of the city just at your doorstep! Let’s hop in your Thrifty rental and head on out to the big city for some brekkie, exploring, and more! 

There’s plenty to do and see just as the sun rises - let’s go for a kayak ride along the Brisbane River, or head out to the water on a paddleboard! There are plenty of tours that start at sunrise, so make the most of the day and get out early. For brekkie, there are plenty of cafes around - head back to Boondall and grab a coffee from Cafe 63 or Zarraffa’s Coffee - they’re both delicious and local options. 

As with any busy and bustling city, there’s always plenty to do and see. Head out for some lunch along the South Bank or in the city centre. Be sure to get in any shopping that you need before heading back to Boondall for a nighttime show at the Entertainment Centre! Worldwide stars have been known to perform here, so you know you’re in for a fabulous time.

There are some incredible sights just a short drive from Boondall! Maybe start the day early with a hot air balloon ride over the Scenic Rim of Brisbane and beyond - see the picturesque mountains from way up high as you enjoy some morning tea and sunrise! It’ll be a morning unlike any other. 

Boondall is lucky enough to be situated near some awesome regions. For example, just a short ferry ride away is Moreton Island - where you’ll find white-sand beaches, lush waters, and mysterious shipwrecks waiting for you! Have a day off from driving the roads and hire a quad bike instead - it’s a fun day out for anyone involved! Another hugely popular island is North Stradbroke Island - famous for its beaches, surf, and scenic headlands, make sure to pack your camera! You’re going to need it.
