You can get there via the Don River Railway steam train!

A short drive away is the city of Launceston, which is the second-largest city in Tasmania, and one of the oldest in Australia! One of the most popular places for both locals and tourists is the Cataract Gorge Reserve. Featuring panoramic views over the South Esk River, this reserve quite simply has it all. Pack your bathers and head here for a fun day out, with Victorian gardens, the world’s longest single-span chairlift, a swimming pool and plenty of wildlife to spot, you’ll be here all day!
